FSM OMS Mobile App ("We" or "the Publisher"), the publisher of the FSM OMS application (the "App"), may process your personal data ("Data") when using the App. We prioritize the protection of your Data and, through this Privacy Policy, inform you of the processing of your Data in compliance with all applicable regulations on the protection of personal data and privacy.
Enterprise/Internal Use Only: This application is intended exclusively for authorized employees and contractors of the Organization to manage field service operations.
Why Do We Process Your Data?
We process your Data only for the following purposes:
- Managing user authentication and access control;
- Tracking field staff locations for task assignment and attendance verification;
- Capturing and storing site documentation (photos) for work orders;
- Enabling real-time task management and status updates;
- Facilitating communication between site engineers and supervisors;
- Synchronizing data between offline and online modes;
- Sending push notifications about task assignments and updates;
- Compiling operational statistics and performance reports;
- Improving our services and the features of the App;
- Monitoring crashes, errors, and performance issues to maintain app reliability and stability;
- Ensuring the security of the App;
- Guaranteeing the exercise of your rights and the defense of our rights.
What Categories of Data Do We Process?
We only process Data strictly necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. We process Data that has been provided to you by the Organization's Administrators when creating your account, and data generated when using the App:
- Identity Data: Name, employee ID, role (Site Engineer/Site Supervisor);
- Contact Details: Email address, phone number;
- Login Data: Username, encrypted password, authentication tokens;
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (foreground and background), timestamps, geofenced check-ins;
- Media Data: Photos captured for site documentation;
- Task Data: Task assignments, status updates, completion reports, time logs;
- Device Data: Device model, operating system, app version;
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, offline/online sync logs;
- Diagnostics and Monitoring Data: Crash reports, error logs, performance traces, and session replay data collected through Sentry for troubleshooting and service improvement.
Permissions Required by the App
To provide our services, the App requires the following permissions on your device:
Android Permissions:
- CAMERA: To capture photos for site documentation;
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: To track your location for task assignment and attendance verification;
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save media files on legacy Android versions where required;
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send you task updates and notifications (Android 13+);
- INTERNET: To sync data with our servers;
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE & WAKE_LOCK: To enable background location tracking and data synchronization.
iOS Permissions:
- NSCameraUsageDescription: To capture images for site documentation;
- NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription: To access your location while using the app;
- NSLocationAlwaysAndWhenInUseUsageDescription: To track your location in the background;
- NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription: To select images from your photo library;
- NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription: To save captured images to your photo library.
Error Monitoring and Analytics (Sentry)
We use Sentry (via the sentry_flutter SDK) to monitor app stability, detect crashes, and diagnose performance issues.
- Sentry may process technical diagnostics such as stack traces, app/device metadata, and performance telemetry;
- For sampled sessions, Sentry Session Replay may capture interaction context to help reproduce and resolve issues;
- This data is used only for security, debugging, and service quality improvement, not for advertising.
To Whom Are Your Data Disclosed?
Data is only transmitted to:
- Organization Administrators: Supervisors and managers within your organization who need access to operational data;
- Subcontractors: Hosting providers, cloud storage services, authentication services, and monitoring providers (including Sentry) necessary for app functionality and reliability;
- Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers or marketing companies.
How Long Do We Keep Your Data?
Your Data is kept for the duration of your employment or contract with the Organization. After termination:
- Operational data is retained for 3 years for audit and compliance purposes;
- Security logs are kept for 6 months;
- Data necessary for legal defense is kept for 5 years.
Account Management
No Self-Service Account Creation or Deletion: Accounts for this application are created, managed, and deleted solely by the Organization's Administrators. Users cannot create their own accounts within the app, nor can they delete their accounts directly.
If you wish to have your account removed or believe there is an error in your account data, please contact your Organization's IT Administrator or HR Department.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. This is a professional enterprise tool intended for use by adult employees and contractors.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
